Although he does not have a life devoted expertise to the Congo, his research and background was thorough and descriptive. Gender Inequality throughout Angola Introduction Angola has had a long and rich tradition of inequality among men and women across their country. According to the World Bank staff, in 2016, there was less than a one percent difference in Men and Women across the total population of Angola (World Bank). The manufacturing and distribution division (MDDiv) of the company is engaged in the manufacturing and marketing process and its products have increased markedly with the introduction of the manufacturing processes that are automated, high volume and unique. However, with the increase in production, there has been an increase in complexities which has been noticed by Roberta Jackson who is the project manager at the first level at the headquarters site. Based on her informal information and experience, she has found that the existing practices of information management is going to cost the company in huge direct expenses and can have its contributions to the share decline of the product on a long term. Therefore, she has decided to conduct an informal discussion with the executive of MDDiv Stewart Jones, who is the potential project sponsor. She wishes to describe the development of a change process and the critical issues that will be faced while managing the change. The techniques of project and change management in the engineering firms needs to proceed along the traditional path and then it should initiate to allocate the resources followed by monitoring of the progress. It is evident that the documentation process and procedure at MDDiv are quite old and outdated and processes involved are incorrect. The documentation process of the company is unsatisfactory for the management and the employees and this form of incorrect documentation is leading to the development of distrust among the users and technical writers. Information management system can be the solution to this problem by developing a change process. This process will involve both process improvement and cultural changes as the entire documentation process will undergo a change (Ward Peppard, 2016). The change implementation and management will be done following few steps which initiate with the setting and agreeing with the objectives. This will be followed by devising plans, implementing and monitoring them and reviewing them accordingly if any correction is required. The key stakeholders for the change process will be the project managers, sponsors, change control board and team members (Willcocks, 2013). The cultural aspects will be involved with the management of the power, task, bureaucratic and individualistic cultures. Changes are often resisted by the staff members as they perceive threats in the new system and therefore, in spite of the problems, they resist the changes (Hayes, 2014). Moreover, I have studied that the Californian state has completed the California review, which asks for a restructuring of the state government. The process of judgement has been started by Professor Worley to Miriam lacey, Ann Feyerhem etc. Dr.w. Scott Sherman , in his book Managing Resistance to Change have addressed issues involving understanding resistance to change and managing strategic change. For a successful managing strategy it is important to organize culture, process and people in most organizations of today (Michael, 1982). The organizations need to change at a higher rate in the face of globalization, demographic trends and technological innovations to stay more competitive in the changing world dynamics. Most of the organizations will agree to the point that they have done a good job in changing these statements. In my opinion, a companys alignment of processes, strate gies and structure is based on managing changes which is a continuous process and combination of science and arts('Journal of Accounting Organizational Change', 2010). In todays environment a number of companies are undertaking the necessary changes which are needed to be survived in todays competitive world. The employees are involved in key decision making and they are paid for their performance rather than the time that they are spending in office. They are taking decisions that are involved in changing the nature of the organization rather not thinking of the things that had already happened .They are taking initiatives to prevent further blunder . According to my opinion, trendy and upcoming fads that are steadily increasing in todays world have forced the managers to forget about the tools of change that has been effective in the past. My purpose is to form a combination of those tools both old and new and to refresh and revitalize some of these basic principles. American health ways, Microsoft, JP Morgan and Gis are some of the organizations who have been quite successful in effecting this change in their organizations (International International, 2015). I have felt, these organizations have mastered these changes that increase their probability of success in the present and in the future. Organizations which cannot adopt themselves in the light of rapid change cannot survive for much longer. Similarly implementing poor policies which do not apply to changes is similar to applying no policies at all. Poor implementation changes the views of the people about change and it creates problems in the future. With the best of intentions managers change one aspect of the firm rather than changing it holistically. Without implying the fact that how will be the peoples reaction toward these changes if changes are implemented such changes will be damaging, unsuccessful and unsupported in the future. Such changes are creates tensions and will ultimately lead to no results at all. Personal change should be initiated before organizational change. Senior managers press for the need of changes in meetings and after the meetings they circulate memoranda and expect that everyone will appreciate their decisions, drop the way they are acting and will adopt to the new ways. Change is resisted in organizations as people are rarely given the chance to understand why change is needed. To implement changes and to see the best side of it, employees must understand that it is to their best interests that they should do things differently (Christopher G. Worley Yvonne H. Vick, 2015). It is not possible for all employees to drop a set of behavior one sudden day and adapt to a new set of behavior the very next day. So, it is a slow and gradual process. Change involves opportunity to learn and also time and learning may not be sufficient every time. So it would be inappropriate to expect change all of a sudden. I have researched on Microsoft and have found out that it changes its structure routinely (Cameron Green, 2004). Every six months they exercise changes for improving the relationships between sales and various other operating groups, the marketing subsidiaries and the corporate office. The employees are quite adaptable to these changes now and will commit themselves only if the changes yield short term goals. Conclusion: Change is required in all organizations to stand out from all the other firms and seeking higher levels of power and intelligence. The managers and leaders clamor for the recent developments and new innovative ideas in the corporate front (AU Faculty of Business, 2015). But, irrationally they forget the prerequisites for a successful change, and they think why they are not making enough progress. Though implementing change is very difficult, it is equally important for organizations to implement it. As a result I would like to implement 8 steps to initiate organizational change. In one day we collect only three hundred fifty Pesos (350) but even though that money is too small for us, it is okay because it can help for our business to make It Big. We continue opening our Computer Shop until we buy another Four (4) Computers so we have Seven (7) Computers and because of that we collect a lot of moneys that help us to buy a Printer Machine and a Scanning Machine because of that we are so stressed because there`s a lot of task we do. So we start finding our helper and we find Jiegs Silang he is a High school graduate but he is so intelligent he is a fast learner about computers. He live in Nasugbu Batangas he is our helper until our Computer Shop becomes one year. We decided to name our Computer Shop and the name of it is Awoor Open Kalate Compuer Repair Shop, we decide to that name because we also repairs computer like Formatting and PC Assembling. This business is so amazing because it helps to give education to my children we continue managing our Computer Shop until we collect moneys o buy six (6) Computers so that we have a total of 13 Computers. I started in my OJT on month of July 07, 2012 and in this month of July Im pretty well trained to work here because I worked here before and today I start to OJT I achieved like Hard disk drive of the computer is broken and for this work I replaced another Hard disk drive. I also have other achievement such as typing a very long story, laminate of ten pieces of ID pictures, Xerox of one piece of English book and of course all of this were done and completed. And month of August I also have other achievement like if the power supply of the computer is loss and for this work again I replaced another power supply and finally the power supply of the computer is working again. Throughout the month of august I also have other achievement like the ram or memory of the computer is not working for short it was loss and I did this it should be to clean up the memory using a pencil eraser to work it again. Month of August I am still typing a very long story of a parable, Xerox of ten pieces Diploma, ten pieces of Birth Certificate, ten pieces of Bio – Data and laminate five pieces of ID pictures and of course all of this were completed. And now in month of September I’m very happy because my supervisor was promote me to a computer assistant and this I recounted my parents that I was promoted to a computer assistant. I also have another achievement of this month of September like Xerox, printing, laminate and typing another long story of the parable that just as I had done previously. The last time that I’m attend in month of September 30, 2012 I stopped to attend the OJT because I’m very busy to make my project in my major subject and I also review my minor subject and major subject for this coming final exam. The month of November I will begin again to attend the OJT because now I have time to OJT because I`m not too busy in school and my supervisor was very glad because I was able to return to OJT again and I was very glad also. I made this month of November was reformatting ten pieces of computer on the other comp shop but it was owned by my supervisor and I made it two days because relatively long after I reformat and Installed drivers and games of course I finished all do ten pieces of computer and it will be open to earn money. And this month of December I still did OJT and I experienced our Xerox machine was broken and exactly two man who want to undergo Xerox a whole book, and ten pieces of Bio – data and I do not know how to fix the Xerox machine and I call my supervisor to say that the Xerox machine is broken and my supervisor said wait for me to fix the Xerox machine and I told to the customer who want to undergo Xerox was not available but after a few minutes my supervisor came to his shop to fix it and I’m happy for that. I stopped again to attend the OJT and this was the Second time to stop to attend my OJT because that time was to prepare for Christmas and of course this was the day we have a family gathering together sometimes we just take along together and that only occurs when there is an occasion like Christmas. I started again to attend my OJT because I`m not busy in my family and now I have time to attend my OJT and today I will do what should I do like Xerox five pieces of documents and PC assembling. Now I stopped again to attend my OJT and this is the Third time to stop to attend my OJT because today was New Year’s Day and Im happy because this was the day we have a family gathering together again and of course we all have families complete and by twelve oclock in the morning We watched fireworks in the sky and then we all eat together. And this month of January I started again to attend my OJT and I also achieved like formatting a computer, pc assembling, and I experienced our motherboard of the system unit were overheat and because it was broken and it was not available so I just replaced another motherboard for it to work again and I’m happy because the motherboard of the system unit was working so we can use it and now that the time of my OJT was near I spent my days only to complete my OJT and I was very glad because the seven months I spent hours on the comp shop I was fully finished my OJT. A. New knowledge, attitudes, and skills acquired The first that I had learned in the Awoor Open Kalate Computer Repair Shop is to be a hard working person and to be a responsible to all things that should I do. I also learned how to fix Xerox Machine and how to use it. It was so easy to Xerox but in my OJT experience it was so hard if there were a lot of papers to be done and I was so glad that I learn how to use it. I also applied at the Comp shop my knowledge in computer when I was high school. Sometimes it was so boring and tedious to have my OJT because I am lone and don’t have friends to talk but the only thing that I did was play some music and watching movies it was my doings when I am bored and tedious it was why don’t stop my OJT and to accomplish my goals in my life and I need to finish my OJT for my family. B. Theories actually seen in practice I realized that if there was an OJT was not so easy, tedious, made me being lazy I felt it when I am doing a lot or you had nothing to do but I made it by pushing myself to did my jobs and to push myself to be a hard working person. I also learned that in all aspects of problems there was a solution. I also push myself not to stop my OJT and not to stop to fix my problems that I encountered. Now, if I have a problems that I can’t solve I pursue to make it and to be successful to my OJT instead of giving up I will make my best to be a successful person. C. I said yes to my supervisor I have know something to computers and I said to my supervisor that if there was a thing that I didn’t know was to betray my supervisor and I said to my supervisor that I am fast learner. I also said to my supervisor that I can help more to his computer shop because I am getting better when I am doing something and practice for it and I am good in some jobs like typing some documents and repairing computers. I enjoy my OJT. In some doings I am compatible with my OJT because I had some ideas to help to my OJT and I experienced the others problems so my OJT was not so hard at all. D. Benefits gained The benefits that the trainee learns at the Awoor Open Kalate Computer Repair Shop are as follows: to be discipline at the work and to be responsible and intelligent, must always be on time, and to be patient with the customer should come. I started to my OJT I learned to be responsible to all aspects and to be diligent, hard working and of course to be friendly and patient. I promise to myself that I will not forget what I learned. I will remember it until I am alive and use it to all things that can apply because of you have this attitude you can recognize by others. It will be applicable when I friends or I have my own job and to my fellow workers. In what I learned to my OJT and to my loving parents I will use to all things in my life and I am so proud that I learned. I will do my best to be a successful man to have good and peaceful life. E. Problems encountered The problem that the trainee encountered at the Awoor Open Kalate Computer Shop is the Xerox machine was broken and exactly two man who want to undergo Xerox a whole book, and ten pieces of Bio – data and I do not know how to fix the Xerox machine and I call my supervisor to say that the Xerox machine is broken and my supervisor said wait for me to fix the Xerox machine and I told to the customer who want to undergo Xerox was not available but after a few minutes my supervisor came to his shop to fix it and I’m happy for that.

The â€Å"ee† sound in â€Å"believe,† for instance, is the same as in â€Å"deceive.† But the vowels in the middle of these words are reversed. War At Sea Essay Throughout the war the British fleets were superior. This was probably due to its large empire. 1914 The first naval battle was on August 28 when the British raided Heligoland Bight. British destroyers entered this German naval base and fired torpedoes but the Germans sent out cruiser ships, which were bigger and stronger. The destroyers retreated to open sea whilst being chased by the Germans and shot at by Battle ships. In September, submarine warfare began when German submarine U-9, sank 3 British cruisers. Meanwhile, 3 British cruisers pursued 3 rival cruisers to the coast of Chile where on November 1st, the Battle of Coronel took place. The Germans sunk 2 British cruisers without loosing 1 ship. When they heard of this the British Admiralty sent 2 more battle cruisers to sink the Germans, but they had gone to the Falkland Islands to raid a British wireless and coaling station. To their surprise they found a British squadron refuelling. The surprised, fleeing Germans were destroyed and 1,800 Germans died. In the Indian Ocean, the German ship Emden attacking small ports and sea-side villages (allies to the British) but later in the beginning of November was destroyed by an Australian cruiser. 1915 On January 23rd, a German squadron went to raid the English coast, but the English had been warned, and sent a fleet to meet them. They met at Dogger Bank and the Germans fled. The British were faster and sunk one cruiser and their 2 flagships were damaged. Because of a misunderstanding of signals, the British attack was not as full on as it should have been so the remaining German ships escaped. The reason the Americans got involved, was when the cruise liner Lusitania was torpedoed twice and sunk. 1,198 people died, 124 of them Americans. On August 19th, the British liner Arabic was lost and 4 more Americans died. 1916 The Battle of Jutland This was the only naval full-scale battle in World  War 1. Neither side was prepared to loose this battle. On the 31st of May, the British Grand Fleet saw the full High Seas Fleet 98 German ships sailing together. Both the British fleets advanced. David Beattys fleet took a parallel rout to the German ships and reached them first followed by Hugh Evan-Thomass squadron. They opened fire and Beatty lost the ships Indefatigable and Queen Mary and received several hits to his flagship Lion. Beatty retreated to Sir John Jellicoes main fleet. Both sides sustained many losses and took many casualties. That night when the main battle was over, the Germans tried to escape. They ran into the tail of a line of cruisers following Jellicoes southbound fleet. Once they were through the chaotic firing, sinkings and collisions of the night they went back to the Jade Anchorage. 1917 By 1917, Germany had built up its navy and because of this and unrestricted submarine warfare Britain almost had to pull out of the war at sea with their depleted navy. But they did not have to because Britain would of needed supplies, so some of the remaining ships of the British fleet joined with some American destroyers and escorted merchant ships to and from ports, whist destroying submarines. This was the convoy system. In February, March and April the Germans raided the English Channel, and in response, Britain raided Ostend and Zeebrugge several times. Later in the year, the British raided German coastal shipping in Holland and in November unsuccessfully raided German minesweeping operations in Heligoland Bight. In December the Germans raided several British-Scandinavian convoys. Britain lost many ships. 1918 German submarine warfare had been decreased by the allied convoy system, but it had not been stopped completely. Raids were sent to Ostend, Zeebrugge and Bruges (3 ports where submarines operated) but were not very successful. 2 more German ships Battle cruiser Goeben and light cruiser Breslau were attacked in the Aegean Sea. Breslau was sunk and Goeben was badly damaged. In March, the Germans made a large attack and this pushed back the Allies, but later in the year they retaliated and conquered the German navy, this won them and ended the war at sea.

Jack Welch was born on November 19, 1935 in Salem, Massachusetts. After graduating high school, he studied at the University of Massuchusetts and received a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering in 1957. He immediately moved to Illiois, where he receive his Master's degree and Ph.D. in chemical engineering. In 1960, Jack started working at General Electric for a starting salary of $10,500. He was very unhappy working for GE due to the low wages and the bureaucracy of management. When Reuben Gutoff, an executive above him, learned that Jack was thinking of leaving GE, he took him out to dinner and convinced him to stay after a four hour conversation. After helping to invent PPO, a new type of plastic, Jack was appointed general manager of a new plastics factory. Soon after, he was placed in charge of the entire plastics division of GE. Jack quickly rose through the ranks of the company when management realized his powerful marketing skills, becoming vice president in 1972, only twelve years from when he started. In 1977, he became senior vice president and two years later, vice-chairman. In 1981, he was chosen to be the company's eighth and youngest CEO. Jack quickly began turning the bloated company around. He told the company's various businesses to be first or second in the market and demanded performance. Over his tenure, 100,000 employees lost their jobs in order to streamline the company. As a result, some people were angered by the layoffs, but it was essential to make the company more efficient. His strong attitude and leadership earned him the nickname "Neutron Jack". In the 1990s, Jack introduced Six Sigma into the company, which intended to increase efficiency and quality of work. The Six Sigma program's goal is to make zero defective products, which is idealistic, but also effective. Over his twenty years as CEO, Welch increased GE's market value from $12 billion to over $280 billion in 2001. The once struggling company was now the biggest corporation in the entire world and also one of the most profitable. The corporation now employs about 350,000 people worldwide. Among his most noble feats was turning the company's 350 businesses into twelve divisions of the company and reducing the management structure from twenty-nine levels to only six.

Choosing Freedom Over Limitation Essay

Each and everyday, what I can watch from the news reports nowadays are all about crime, crime and all crime. Our society is already filled with human being’s dark sides and that is what is continuously being unleashed. What I wanted to say is that we need to have effective ways to help our world to leave its bad ways. The role of the government in the society is to enforce what is right and limit the wrong doings. But as what I can observe, the more the government limits its people, the more the people do terrible things. An example of that I have read that shows this example is the Martial Law brought down onto the Philippines in the early 1970s. Yes, at the beginning, the people follows the government because of the forced limitation but after years had passed, people revolted because they cannot take any longer what the government is doing to the people. It is not always that forced limitation becomes effective to ruling people everytime. There will be a point in time, when someone limits another person and doesn’t give him his freedom it will show its annoyance about that because what was taken away from him is his freedom. We must let the people do what they wanted to do. But we can let them as long as they don’t do anything that will go against the rules. It is like when you are holding a handful of sand. When you just hold it with your palm up, nothing happens. But at the time when you squeeze your palms against the sand, the sand breaks off your hand, violently, like it’s trying to get away. And also just what Saint Augustine has said, evil only exists on something good. There is not really an opposing force to everything good done of every people. So we must leave the responsibility of being good to the people and limitation might do just less. Although we know that there is a big and bad possibility that we choose freedom rather than limitation for people, that people will just abuse it, it is still the people’s responsibility of what they are doing. When they do bad things, then, punish them. It doesn’t mean that when there is freedom, it’s only freedom ruling over the people. Of course there must be someone or some group that looks over people’s safety because what will be the use of freedom if all the people are just killing each other or stealing things? But of course it is also up to the people what they wanted and what they think that is better for them. Freedom or limitation? That is why there different forms of government all over different countries in the world. Some countries prefer a democratic form of government because they wanted freedom of speech. Others wanted communism because they feel safer through the government’s protection. And there are many other forms of government that people together take as a choice. The government has the full responsibility of its own peoples’ sake. It must provide them enough protection that can ensure that the people will not be harmed and perhaps will not harm. That is why, law enforcement was developed. It is being continuously improved to watch out everything regarding the society’s peace and order. And also, this provides an invisible shield that also helps protect without taking away freedom. A very powerful tool that human kind created that manages civilizations. The question that I have answered is that whether or not I think freedom is better than forced limitation. For me, the question should not be limited in the choice between freedom and limitation. Yes, we can choose freedom, and also, we can choose limitation. But we must remember that anytime the two can exist together at the same time, just with the right amount of both things.

She feels that women's lives outside the home were severely limited. Mary felt women never achieved a status later to be lost. The colonial period, even comparatively speaking, was not a golden age for women. During the colonial period most white women were expected to devote their chief energies to housekeeping and to the care of the children. As husbands where expected to support them by raising crops or working for wages. Women also did some outside chores such as gathering fruits and vegetables. They also made clothes for their family. Only the wealthiest women who had servants escaped some of these labors. Native American women had similar work roles. They did not do the spinning of wool or weaving but they did make clothes by tanning and processing the hides of the animals their husbands killed. Like their white counterparts the Native American also drew a division between the domestic labors of women to the public realm of men. Black women were more inclined to work both in field and in house. More often black women engaged in labor out of doors then the whites. Contact with persons outside their immediate family for both white and black females was rare. So many women would take advantage of social interaction by attending church. Important information was passes on by person to person mostly at the local taverns of the county courthouse, both of which were male bastions. Urban women where not so isolated. Their housing where closer then those in the farm and plantation area. They could visit friends and family. They also had the opportunity to attend school. Plus their household tasks was less demanding they had time to take up some of the amenities of the urban setting. Introduction to Externalities When making the claim that free, unregulated markets maximize the amount of value created for a society, economists either implicitly or explicitly assume that the actions and choices of producers and consumers in a market dont have any spillover effects onto third parties who are not directly involved in the market as a producer or a consumer. When this assumption is taken away, it no longer has to be the case that unregulated markets are value-maximizing, so its important to understand these spillover effects and their impacts on economic value. Economists call effects on those not involved in the market externalities, and they vary along two dimensions. First, externalities can be either negative or positive. Not surprisingly, negative externalities impose spillover costs on otherwise uninvolved parties, and positive externalities confer spillover benefits on otherwise uninvolved parties. (When analyzing externalities, its helpful to keep in mind that costs are just negative benefits and benefits are just negative costs.) Second, externalities can be either on production or consumption. In the case of an externality on production, the spillover effects occur when a product is physically produced. In the case of an externality on consumption, the spillover effects occur when a product is consumed. Combining these two dimensions gives four possibilities: Negative Externalities on Production Negative externalities on production occur when producing an item imposes a cost on those not directly involved in producing or consuming the item. For example, factory pollution is the quintessential negative externality on production, since the costs of pollution are felt by everyone and not just those who are producing and consuming the products that are causing the pollution. Positive Externalities on Production Positive externalities can occur during produciton such as when a popular food, such as cinnamon buns or candy, produces a desirable smell during manufacturing, releasing this positive externality to the nearby community. Another example would be adding jobs in an area with high unemployment can benefit the community putting more consumers with money to spend into that communitry  and also reducing the number of unemployed people there. Negative Externalities on Consumption Negative externalities on consumption occur when consuming an item actually imposes a cost on others. For example, the market for cigarettes has a negative externality on consumption because consuming cigarettes imposes a cost on others not involved in the market for cigarettes in the form of second-hand smoke. Positive Externalities on Consumption Because the presence of externalities makes unregulated markets inefficient, externalities can be viewed as a type of market failure. This market failure, at a fundamental level, arises because of a violation of the notion of well-defined property rights, which is, in fact, a requirement for free markets to function efficiently. This violation of property rights occurs because there are is no clear ownership of air, water, open spaces, and so on, even though society is affected by what happens to such entities. When negative externalities are present, taxes can actually make markets more efficient for society. When positive externalities are present, subsidies can make markets more efficient for society. These finds are in contrast with the conclusion that taxing or subsidizing well-functioning markets (where no externalities are present) reduces economic welfare.

East Asian Culture Orient is defined as study of East Asian culture, their tradition and its impact on the rest of the world. European found the word orient. Till late eighteenth century, people were seeing the interchange between the academic and imaginative type of orientalism, but after some more further detailed research Edward Said discovered the third type of orientalism which is called as Academic orientalism. In this corporate institution analyzed and discussed orientalism in there own ways, therefore we can say that orientalism as a western style for dominating, recruiting and having authority towards the orient. From Edward Saids point of view, orientalism is fueled by academic orientalism concept. E.g. In America, in late twentieth century, the term orientalism was changed to ‘East Asian studies but in Britain and some parts of Europe it is still called as ‘School of Oriental and African Studies or SOAS. The fact of Saids orientalism as not much to consider because, culture and nations whose location is in the east and there histories, customs have less reality and it is better than it could be said and assumed. For understanding the ideas, histories, culture and power of configuration, the orient was created, which is called as orientalized. These things simply believe that, things happen simply as a necessity of the imagination and the power of dominance between the orient and oxidant. Orientalism is not exactly called as a political subject or issue as it is passively reflected by culture, scholarships, institution and not the large diffuse collection of text about the orient. It is rather than cultural, geographical awareness to the western world, this might help to western world to understand the orient properly and to correct the wrong assumptions made over the orient. It is a distribution of geopolitical awareness into the aesthetics, scholarly, economic, sociological and historic text. It is an elaboration of geographical location as well as scholarly discoveries and phi logical reconstruction. Japanese social institutions signify that, Japanese culture has high level of sophistication, yet it also appeared highly feudal to modern world. Western image of Japan was not fully negative. There are many positive cultural and traditional things that western world thinks about Japan. Romantic culture really teaches the world there sophisticated culture, with its indigenous traditions are in close harmony. Some of the world famous things of cultural evidence are Bonsai trees, bamboo and wooden houses, female accessories from natural resources like bamboo stick hats, Zen Buddhism and meditation techniques, macrobiotic cooking and ceramic vessel art teaches the modern world about Japanese quality of living and the evidence of there culture that they are aesthetically more attuned than rest of the world. Image of the Japanese people in there private life is completely different. They are little bit fanatical, deceitful in nature. The great study of different cultures in the world done by Richard D. As far as I conclude on Richards comments on Japanese people, I feel Japanese people are very private in nature and independent from childhood. They have very much proud feeling for there country and every time they mention there feelings. If they do some mistake then, they can go to any level of politeness. In World War II ethnocentrism exhibited, which carried some negative consequences in terms of cross cultural communications. Reaction of America on economic defeat created some negative impact on the Japanese people living in America. E.g. Congressman smashed Japanese radio in Capitol Hill and Chinese person was murdered as he was assumed as Japanese. So I can say that Orientalism taught many cultural things to world through there tradition and oriental objects. For my essay I chose Japanese six paneled screen as my oriental object. As this object is oriental, there are many cultural details hidden inside this object and through the detail analysis I will show some points of oriental evidence hidden in the object.

It is something that most people take for granted in their lives. It is fun to sing along to a song in the car, or to dance along at a party, etc... It is also a background noise in movies, or parties, or a variety of other places. Most people never stop and think about the transformative power that music can have on them. It should be made clear though that music does indeed have a transformative power. When a person is feeling depressed an upbeat song can lift their spirits up. The same is true for the opposite effect as well. If someone is feeling up, a sad and morose song can bring them back down. This is just a small part of the power that music has over our lives though. As the quote points out, music is a universal language. It is something that people of all ages, religions, genders, and ethnicity can understand and enjoy. This is what truly makes music a powerful force in our world. What happens though when authors choose to put this power in their writing, though? What kind of similar messages and questions about music are raised in pieces from The Romantic Period and the Modern Era? While there may not seem like there is much in common from two eras hundreds of years apart, there are indeed some similar themes in the poems and stories from these two time frames. But why, this is an obvious problem. Because all employers want their companies or enterprises can better develop. They do not want to hire people who do not have competence to destroy their company. However these above skills are important for the companies and enterprises. The following is an analysis by why employers look for people with these skills. First is the analytical reasoning skills, it is deals with your ability to assess a situation, seek multiple perspectives, gather more information, and identify key issues that need to be addressed. Highly analytical reasoning thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, improving, and streamlining complex work processes. The world values people who have good analytical skills, who can see the big picture from the details, and who can think in terms of multi-disciplinary combinations. According to Thomas Friedman, author of The World is Flat, it’s â€Å"interdisciplinary combinations – design and technology, mathematics and art – that produce YouTube and Google. † In this age of overflowing information, in which the number of words on the Internet is close to surpassing the total number of words spoken in the history of humanity, we must know how to analyze and deal with information; to know what are good sources of information, to be able to access it and use discrimination to make effective use of it. As a whole, analytical ability is an important skill which the college students or professionals must develop in order to achieve the success in the workplace. For example if you want to buy an air conditioner. You analyze the air conditioner itself, is it a good brand, is it present technology, and what about compare to other present technologies. So what about your decision? And than you analyze the financial impact, do you have money for it, do you use cash or credit for it? After that you analyze do you home have a place to put it? So you look at all point of view of the same situation. Some suggest about analytical skills: I think to open teacher-student relationship helps the student become a good advice. It's difficult for the student to do this if he is not engaged or open to what the teacher has to say. And the other method is learning how to question. Everyone knows how to question. It is part of what makes us human- we meet new people and ask them where they come from, what they do for a job, whether they are married. However, as you studies progress you will find that you need to think more deeply about how you question and type of questions that you ask. About communication skills there are some tips for improving your communication style. Adjust to the other styles of communication. Don't think it is too late to change your way of conversing because it's been years. You had to learn to communicate in the first place and you can unlearn certain behaviors or change them. Sometimes we get stuck in a communication rut. (Peter Murphy, 2007). Don't pick on others for communicating differently. If we all communicated in the same way, we'd soon be bored with each other. (Peter Murphy, 2007). Last is about how to develop creativity. Brainstorming is also referred to as divergent thinking: you start with a question and then let your mind diverge-go in many different directions-in searches of solutions. Brainstorming is deliberate creativity thinking. When you Brainstorm, try to generate ideas without thinking about how useful they are; evaluate their quality later. Life and Work of Miss Maria Montessori

Maria Montessori was born in August 31, 1870. She was the first woman in Italy to receive a medical degree. She worked in the fields of psychiatry, anthropology& education. She believed that each child is born with a unique potential to be revealed, rather than as a â€Å"blank slate† waiting to be written upon. Her main contributions to the work of those of us raising and educating children are; †¢Preparing the most natural and life supporting environment for the child †¢Observing the child living freely in this environment Continually adapting the environment in order that the child may fulfill his greatest potential — physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually The Early Years Maria Montessori was always a little ahead of her time. At age thirteen, against the wishes of her father but with the support of her mother, she began to attend a boys' technical school. After seven years of engineering she began premed and, in 1896 became a physician. In her work at the University of Rome psychiatric clinic Montessori developed an interest in the treatment of special needs children and, for several years, she worked, wrote, and spoke on their behalf. Miss Maria as an Educationalist Maria lectures on the importance of educating disabled children at a national medical congress and at a national teacher’s congress in Turin, Italy. She travelled to London and Paris to study the work of earlier pioneers in this field, Jean Itard and Edouard Seguin. In 1898 Maria becomes a member of the National League for the Education of Retarded Children. Maria is appointed co-director with Dr. Giuseppe Montesano of the State Orthophrenic School (for mentally retarded children) in Rome. The news of the unprecedented success of her work in this Casa dei Bambini â€Å"House of Children† soon spread around the world, people coming from far and wide to see the children for themselves. Dr. Montessori was as astonished as anyone at the realized potential of these children: The Montessori Method Maria’s book, The Montessori Method, is published in Italian Anne George, an American, and goes to Rome to take Maria’s training course. The first American Montessori School opens in Tarrytown, New York; this is the result of great interest in a long article about Montessori that was published in the American magazine, McClure. Maria’s book The Montessori Method is translated into English. in1912. Maria visits the U. S. for the first time due to Sam McClure’s persuasion; there are already over one hundred Montessori schools in operation. Maria gives a lecture at New York’s Carnegie Hall on Dec. . The Montessori American Committee becomes the Montessori Educational Association under the direction of Mabel Bell (Alexander Graham Bell’s wife) as president. Spain’s first Montessori school opens. Success of Montessori’s Method Since her death an interest in Dr. Montessori's methods have continued to spread throughout the world. Her message to those who emulated her was always to turn one's attention to the child, to â€Å"follow the child†. It is because of this basic tenet, and the observation guidelines left by her, that Dr. Montessori's ideas will never become obsolete. The potential of the child is not just mental, but is revealed only when the complete â€Å"Montessori method† is understood and followed. The child's choice, practical work, care of others and the environment, and above all the high levels of concentration is reached when work is respected and not interrupted, reveal a human being that is superior not only academically, but emotionally and spiritually, a child who cares deeply about other people and the world, and who works to discover a unique and individual way to contribute. This is the essence of real â€Å"Montessori† work today.
